Kirlian Camera - Biografia - Discografia

Kirlian Camera é uma banda de Darkwave/Industrial de Italia.
Angelo Bergamini fundou Kirlian Camera, na Primavera de 1980, com a ajuda de alguns amigos próximos e a cantora Simona Buja. O concerto de estréia foi realizado uma semana mais tarde, em ocasião da festa do Orgulho Gay italiano. A primeira demo-tape imediatamente leva KC a assinar com Italian Records, um selo independente, mas amplamente popular na época, que lançou o seu vinil de estréia no Natal de 1981. O EP, apesar de uma produção de baixo orçamento, foi imediatamente esgotado e foi prontamente re-emitido, vendendo mais de 6000 cópias em pouco tempo. Depois de um tempo, começa uma espécie de um non-stop de circulação de pessoal. Simona dá-se continuamente, entretanto, Angelo começa a trabalhar com hipnose, um projeto disco-wave/techno-pop recebendo o prêmio platina pelas vendas na Alemanha, atingindo também o topo das tabelas 10 com o single "Pulstar" Em muitos países (Espanha, Benelux, Grécia , Brasil, etc.) Esta aventura não dura muito embora, depois de lançar um álbum de sucesso e um par de novos hit-singles, Angelo deixou a banda para continuar a trabalhar em tempo integral com Kirlian Camera, que definitivamente se torna a sua obra favorita, de longe. De repente, ele assina um contrato com a Virgin Records que lançou dois singles de sucesso com a ajuda de Allan Goldberg (produtor de Yes, Richie Havens e muitos outros), ao longo de dois anos. Em 1988, Simona deixa definitivamente a banda, um pouco antes de eles voarem para Londres a fim de atender o produtor John Fryer (This Mortal Coil, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, M / A / R / R / S, etc) assim que terminam as gravações do 2 álbum "Eclipse (Das Schwarze Denkmal"), cuja canção com o mesmo título se torna um dos hinos mais bem sucedidos da banda. Cantoras Temporárias, Bianca Hoffmann-Santos e Suzanne Reddington-Gardner passam dois anos ,mais tarde por Emilia Lo Jacono, que se torna uma das vocalistas oficiais.
