Misfits é uma banda de Punk Rock de New Jersey USA.
Foi no alvorecer do movimento punk em Abril de 1977, que o Misfits nasceram. Tomando para seu nome o título do último filme de Marilyn Monroe, e partiram para fazer uma boa impressão. Eles acabaram fazendo história e criando um legado que tem resistido ao teste do tempo. Hoje, com um enorme catálogo de músicas antigas e novas, uma nova formação e uma influência sentida em todo o mundo, o Misfits estão gerando mais interesse do que nunca.
Desde a sua criação, o Misfits foram primordiais. A sua música foi agressiva, conflituosa e perigosa com letras violentas como pode ser visto através dos olhos de um monstro, juntamente com as intemporais melodias vocais criadas a partir de 1950, o rock and roll. Imortalizando filmes de terror em preto e branco na sua música, o Misfits desenvolveram uma persona macabra e totalmente original, de sua mão feita de armas, o penteado estilete que chamaram de "devil locks." Foi o início do punk e eles tinham criado uma rebelião de todos os seus.
Mais de trinta anos de apogeu hardcore, o Misfits resistiram como monstro no pelotão do punk rock , inspirando-os a continuar a escrever, gravar e excursionar. Esses Demônios "(como seus fãs são conhecidos), que ainda estão se multiplicando no mundo, voltam agora apos várias gerações .
