Theatres des Vampires é uma banda italiana de Gothic Metal com vocal feminino ,formada em 1994.Nas suas músicas aparecem temas como necrofilia, vampirismo e satanismo.O primeiro álbum foi lançado em 1996, “Vampyrìsme, nècrophilie, nècrosadisme, nècrophagie”, que tinha um som mais pesado, voltado para a area do black metal e utilizando um híbrido som entre vocais masculinos e femininos.
Os seus componentes atuais são Sonya Scarlet no vocal, Stephan Benfante na guitarra, Fabian Varesi no teclado e no vocal de apoio, Zimon Lijoi no baixo e no vocal de apoio e Gabriel Valerio na bateria e no vocal de apoio. Ao longo de sua carreira, TDV mudou muito de formação e há também uma grande diferença entre o seu primeiro álbum e o “Anima Noir”, último álbum em estúdio lançado pela banda e que apresenta uma maior influência de sons eletrônicos.
Theatres Des Vampires criaram um estilo pessoal de melancolia e melodias crepusculas. O casamento sepulcral de Sonya Scarlet e a sua contraparte masculina cria uma encarnação vocal que é ao mesmo tempo cativante e poderosa.
