Dronning Maud Land é uma banda alema de gothic rock formada em 1991,quando saiu ca para fora a sua primeira cassete"At The Back Of Beyond "tendo lançado três discos (Aphorism, 1993; Alteration, 1994; Maelstrom, 1994) e depois de terem tocado por toda a alemanha,rep checa,inglaterra e frança.Em 1996 pensou-se que teriam desaparecido.
O ano de 2001 é um ano de renascimento e começam a trabalhar para o cd que sairia em 2003"Bedlam "
Em 2004 sai uma compilaçao das melhores musicas"The Essence Of A Decade [Part I]"
