Mankind Is Obsolete é uma banda de Industrial/Rock de Los Angeles,USA.
Começaram em 2002, quando Jon (baterista) e Natasha (vocal)se conheceram numa escola municipal de música. Natasha estava estudando teclados, bateria. Então começaram a escrever algumas coisas e não conseguiram encontrar um cantor. Jon não queria fazer o papel de Phil Collins, portanto, o dever caiu em Natasha. Assim, algumas lições vocais, canções e integrantes da banda mais tarde, decidiram começar a turnê.Por esta altura, Scott (guitarra) e Gordon (baixista) haviam se juntado á banda. Começaram a fazer concertos bem cedo. O resto da banda tinha muito a aprender com Jon.
