War Tapes - Biografia - Dicografia

War Tapes é uma banda de Post-Punk de Downtown LA, California,Estados Unidos.
Na veia dos Joy Division, Echo & the Bunnymen, Interpol e The Cure. A banda, que consiste no frontman carismático e teatral Neil Popkin, Becca Popkin baixista,o guitarrista Matt Bennett, e pelo baterista William Mohler.Eles tiveram elogios desde a sua estréia em 2006 ao vivo, e o zumbido no início de War Tapes ganhou airplay nas estações de rádio tastemaker tais como a BBC Radio 1 Live e 105 em San Francisco, durante "Dreaming of You" foi exibido em Nova NBC Véspera de Ano Novo com Carson Daly (e "The Night Unfolds" por uma semana em Março). A banda também já fez alguns concertos turnê nos E.U. e no Reino Unido com os The Smashing Pumpkins, Tiger Army, Shiny Toy Guns, Moving Units, The Bravery, Longwave, VNV Nation e The Unseen mesmo antes de lançar seu primeiro EP em outubro de 2008 auto-produzido independente.
