Sweet William - Biografia - Discografia

Sweet William é uma banda de Gothic Rock/Punk da Alemanha.
A banda foi fundada em 1986 pelo vocalista e guitarrista Oliver Heuer. Estilisticamente, a banda inicialmente tocava música punk, gothic rock e new wave. Ao longo dos anos, mudou o estilo do rock psicodélico e electro. Em 1990, o primeiro EP, "To Have a Relapse" figurar no rótulo Colónia Big Noise Records. Depois de duas versões mais em Big Noise Sweet William assinou um contrato com Hyperium / Rough Trade Records. A banda lançou três álbuns.

O álbum "Show", foi lançado em 1998, Dion Fortune, deu o salto para o número 14 nas tabelas Alternativas alemas "Deutschen Alternative-Charts".
