The Exploited foi uma banda de Punk rock de Edinburgh,Reino Unido formada em 1980.
Banda formada por Wattie Buchan (voz), Big John Duncan (guitarra), Dru Stix (bateria) e Gary McCormack (baixo). Desde o início (no início de 1980, se você estava prestando atenção), não houve enfraquecimento desses punks Edimburgo para baixo, sem diluir sua música para consumo público. The Exploited foram punk rock.
Lançado em apenas um ano mais tarde no rótulo Secret,o seu álbum de estréia foi tanto um grito de guerra a mobilização como um registro. Era chamado de "Punk's Not Dead" e passou a se tornar o álbum número um independente de 1981 (antes da maioria das Índias foram majors disfarçados), alcançando o número 20 nas tabelas nacionais e vendendo 150.000 cópias. Que tipo de prova o ponto. Se o punk estava morto, ninguém havia dito exército barmy o Exploited é crescente ". E quando é certo, "Punk's Not Dead" não foi o maior recorde de todos os tempos, como um lance inicial era imbatível e ao vivo, a banda foi nada menos que incrível. O longo do quente verão de '81 viu o país inteiro em chamas. Real anarquia no Reino Unido como a cidade após cidade, cidade após cidade explodiu! Um momento perfeito para os explorados para co-manchete do lendário Apocalypse Now ". O sell out london show (no Lyceum Ballroom) ocorreu apenas um dia após os motins Brixton. Fale sobre uma atmosfera eletrizante! Em outubro do mesmo ano The Exploited estava nas tabelas de singles com o sugestivo violentamente 'Dead Cities', levando a dúvida o mais feroz.
