Gravaram uma demo intitulada"Candles Burning Blue"em1998
A banda se desfez em 1999, mas juntaram-se em 2000. Em novembro de 2005, se dissolveu novamente.
Eles decidiram intitular-se de um nome que nao é original "Candles Burning Blue". O nome é tirado de Lewis Spence, "The Encyclopedia of Occult" 1920).
Em 2000 gravaram o EP "Suruaika" uma demo"Alive Among the Dead"mais uma demo"Pearls Given to the Swine".
Em 2001 saiu o primeiro Full-length"Pearls Given to the Swine".
