Tragic Black é uma banda de Deathrock/Gothic Rock de Salt Lake City, Utah.
É composta por Vision (Vocal), Vyle (Baixo), Jesse James (Guitarra Solo), Stich (Guitarra Base), Seputus (Bateria),Embora tenha sido fundada por Vision e Vyle no verão de 2000, e tenhem varias musicas em compilaçoes e numerosas aparições em revistas de todo o mundo. Realizando vários concertos e festivais por todo os E.U.A., bem como o festival Wave Gotik Treffen em Leipzig na Alemanha.
Tragic Black Cada CD tem o seu próprio som único como cada versão está relacionado a um elemento diferente.O álbum de estréia "Articulate Lacerations"em 2002 teve uma ediçao limitada de 500 copias, foi o elemento de fogo. A banda lançou recentemente o seu novo CD "The Cold Caress",em agosto de 2007 pela Strobelight Records.The Cold Caress é o elemento conceitual baseado na história "In The Cold Caress", escrito por Vision. O som do The Cold Caress pode ser descrito como uma mistura de glam batcave melódico, deathrock new wave, post velho goth-punk,e electro dance.
Tragic Black já tocou com artistas como; All Gone Dead, Android Lust, Ausgang, Bella Morte, Bloody Dead and Sexy, The Brides, Cinema Strange, Clit 45, Combichrist, David J, The Deep Eynde, Dismantled, Element, Frankenstein, Human Drama, Imperative Reaction, Kill Hannah, The Last Dance, Penis Flytrap, Pins & Needles, Rádio Scarlet, Scarlets Remains, Shadow Reichenstein, Stolen Babies, Voltaire e muitos outros.
Atualmente a banda tem uma turnê européia prevista para o início de novembro em países como, Alemanha, Áustria, Bélgica, Noruega e Itália.
