Rosetta Stone - Biografia - Discografia

Rosetta Stone,Banda de gothic rock começou em 1988,Liverpool quando o vocalista/ guitarrista Porl King e Karl North baixista ansiava para escapar da tradicional cena pop. Um ano depois, a dupla conheceu a Missão de Wayne Hussey, que se ofereceu para produzir o primeiro álbum de Rosetta Stone. Pouco tempo depois, Hussey puxou dos direitos de produção e em 1990 o auto-intitulado álbum foi lançado sem ele. Vários singles foram postos para fora através dos anos 90, e Rosetta Stone emitiu o seu primeiro album Adrenaline, em 1993. Fundation Stones e o EP Epitome também seguiram no mesmo ano.
Bandas como Nine Inch Nails e The Cure estavam recebendo a exposição nacional.Com influências musicais, como o Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus e The Cure.
A banda retornou com o album "tyranny of inaction" em 1995 e "Hiding in Waiting" , em 1996, ao estabelecer-se como um dos nomes de Cleópatra doméstico. O quinto álbum, Chemical, foi lançado em 1998 ea banda continuou a carregar a tocha gótico no circuito mainstream rock & roll. Dois anos depois, Rosetta Stone emitiu o seu maior lançamento, Unerotica.
